Another Toddler Found Wandering North Tulsa Streets, Parents Found

Posted: Updated:

A 3-year-old boy was found wandering the street in a north Tulsa neighborhood Wednesday morning, police confirmed.

According to Jillian Roberson, Tulsa Police spokesperson, the boy's 8-year-old sister was watching her younger brother when she fell asleep and he wandered outside.

He was able to tell the person who found him that his home was near 1300 N. Irvington and both children were taken to the shelter.

The mother, who at first couldn't be found, was contacted at work, Roberson said.

No charges are expected to be filed.

The children are still in protective custody and DHS will handle the situation moving forward.

This comes a day after a 19-month-old toddler was found wandering around E. 55th Pl. North late Monday evening.

The child was eventually reunited with her mother Tuesday.
