Henry Co. Deputies Look for Man Wanted for Malicious Wounding
Henry Co., VA – Henry County officials are looking for a man in connection with a malicious wounding incident Tuesday.
The sheriff's office says they responded to the call at AL Philpott Highway in Martinsville around 7:15 p.m. They say the victim, Tammy Haymore, 45, said that Mack Douglas Shupe Jr., 50, cut her arm with a knife. Both people live in the home.
Haymore was taken to Memorial Hospital of Martinsville and Henry County and later transferred to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center.
A warrant for the arrest of Shupe has been issued for one felony count of malicious wounding.
