How much coffee do you drink every day?
A new study finds a surprising link between heavy coffee consumption and an increased risk of death.
Researchers studied the health habits of more than 43,000 adults for about 17 years.
Among men, those who drank more than four cups a day, whether it was regular or decaffeinated, had a 20% higher risk of death.
For those younger than 55, the risk was even higher for both men and women.
Researchers add that several factors may be involved here since coffee drinkers tend to be more stressed, get less sleep, and are more likely to smoke and skip exercise.
