Gammaw Pat's Napa Salad

Gammaw Pat's Napa Salad

  • 1 head Napa cabbage, sliced
  • 5 Scallions, sliced
  • 2 package Ramen noodles, crunched up
  • 1/4 stick Butter
  • 1/3 cup Sesame seeds
  • 1 package Almonds, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Oil
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste


1. Place butter, Ramen noodles, almonds and sesame seeds in pan over medium high heat and toast to a light brown color.

2. Slice cabbage and scallions and place in a large bowl.

3. Add to cabbage and browned noodle mixture and toss.

4. Combine sugar, oil and vinegar.  Shake well to make dressing.

5. Pour dressing over salad just prior to serving.
