Blacksburg - Virginia Tech defensive lineman Corey Marshall remains a Hokie, but he has left the team "to take care of some personal matters," according to director of football operations John Ballein. The junior from North Dinwiddie was expected to be a key contributor on the Hokies' defensive line this season. Marshall's leave only adds to the attrition Tech has dealt with in the last month. Four other Hokies have left the program for various reasons. Add in injuries to Antone Exum and Ronny Vandyke and Tech's depth has taken some major hits heading into the season opener August 31st against top-ranked Alabama.
