A religious monument on the grounds of the State Capitol is the target of a lawsuit.
The American Civil Liberties Union, or ACLU, has filed the case.
They argue that a monument of the Ten Commandments is unconstitutional on public property.
They say it puts one faith over another and creates a hostile atmosphere for Oklahomans who are not Christian.
The district court filing asks for the monument to be removed. It was put up in November of 2012 and was funded by private donations.
