Lynchburg - Today we're spotlighting the Central Virginia team, if you will, elected to the Virginia High School Hall of Fame in July.
Former JF star athlete and now UVa football assistant Anthony Poindexter, along with longtime E.C. Glass coach, teacher and athletic director Chip Berry, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame October 14th in Charlottesville.
Chip Berry, VIRGINIA HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME, said "It's really Dennis a tribute to E.C. Glass because I've just been blessed to work at one school for 35 years with so many great people. And it's their accomplishments that made this possible."
Anthony Poindexter, VIRGINIA HIGH SCHOOL HALL OF FAME, said "It's a great honor for me personally and you know my family. But you know also for my high school Jefferson Forest. Being the first player there to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, I can't take all the credit. I had great coaches and great teammates at JF."
