Woodland woman killed, 3 injured in 3-vehicle crash in near Wedowee

A three-vehicle crash Thursday morning claimed the life of a Woodland woman and injured three of her passengers, Alabama State Troopers said.

Mindy Adams Brown, 32, was killed in a crash around 7:48 a.m. on Highway 431, three miles north of Wedowee. Three passengers in Brown's 2001 Pontiac Firebird -- 5-week-old Daylan Brown, 3-year-old Elin Shelton and 35-year-old Bethany Green -- were injured in the fatal accident.

The drivers of the other two vehicles involved were not injured. 

An accident investigation remains ongoing.

    The Jefferson County Sheriff's department is looking for 48 year old Michael Kennedy. He's wanted on several charges after allegedly setting his ex-girlfriend on fire.
