Our weather today is unsettled, as an upper level disturbance moves through. Look for plenty of clouds, with scattered showers and thunderstorms. Late day and evening storms could become strong to severe. The main threats are heavy downpours, frequent lightning and a small chance of damaging winds.
Thursday and Friday are partly sunny, very warm and mainly dry. Highs in the 80s to near 90. This weekend and Labor Day anticipate a mix of sun and clouds, with hit or miss showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. By next Tuesday and Wednesday a real taste of autumn is on the way. Highs in the 70s, with overnight lows in the 50s, possibly 40s for some.
