Group Meets to Discuss Lynchburg's Race Relations

Lynchburg, VA - A group gathered together Wednesday morning on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream Speech" to talk about the future of race relations in the Hill City.

The group "Many Voices, One Community" met at Riverside Park. They announced a conference on race relations set for October 12 at Randolph College.

They brought up the recent death in the White Rock neighborhood when a man went into cardiac arrest during an arrest, and later died.

We'll have more on the event on ABC 13 News at 5.
