Trevor Knight made his debut as the starting quarterback at Oklahoma Saturday night to mixed reviews. A work in progress may be the best way to describe the OU quarterback situation moving forward.
While he ran for more yards (103) than any OU starter since Jason White, his passing (11 of 28 for 86 yards) needs to improve.
"Just getting in the film room more and clearing up some things. Relaxing while I'm playing and just playing." said Knight, "It's as simple as that. Just going out there and not thinking too much and playing football."
Knight will make his second start this Saturday in Norman at 6:00pm. The Sooners will host Big 12 opponent West Virginia.
