Successful Trials of STREAMWAY Systems Convert to Sales within Florida Hospital Association
MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Skyline Medical Inc. (OTCQB: SKLN) (the "Company"), formerly BioDrain Medical, producer of the FDA-approved STREAMWAY® System for automated, direct-to-drain surgical fluid disposal, today announced that Winter Park Memorial Hospital, based in Winter Park, Fla., has purchased three STREAMWAY System units for its new endoscopy wing, opening this Fall.
This sale is the result of a successful trial and will pave the way for future installations within the Florida Hospital Association, a large network that advocates on behalf of hospitals at the state level on issues such as bettering patient care. The Florida Hospital Association Network is designed to meet the group health care needs of businesses and members within the Tri-County area in Florida including Orange County, Osceola County and Seminole County. The network includes eight hospitals, 18 urgent care centers, more than 1,300 physicians and multiple ancillary providers for a complete continuum of care.
