Former Okmulgee County Deputy Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography
A former Okmulgee County deputy was taken into custody Thursday morning on allegations of distributing images of child pornography.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officers arrested Robert Farrill and booked him on three counts of distribution of child pornography. He was taken into custody at his home in the 300 block of N. Taft Ave.
KTUL has confirmed that Farrill was previously a member of the Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office, according to an official. Farrill reportedly owns an investigation company.
According to a release from OSBI, officers allege that Farrill sent images of child pornography to an undercover agent. Following the incident a search warrant was issued and executed at his residence where discovered "more than 100 images of child pornography stored on just one device."
Farrill was arrested on the warrant and booked into the Okmulgee County Jail. In addition to the above charges, an additional count of violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Acts was included.
Oklahoma Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force members from the Edmond Police Department helped with today's warrant, as did officers with the Okmulgee Police Department. OSBI agents will continue to investigate this case.
