Crews are continuing efforts this week to tear down the old Rogers County courthouse in Claremore.
It's a process that began on Wednesday and one that has been expected to take place since the new building went up and city officials moved in a few weeks ago.
KTUL was told that the old courthouse dates back to 1941. And it's has undergone a few expansions since then.
City officials stated that when the demolition process is over, a parking lot and a plaza will take its place. This should take about a week.
