The game OU fans and many OU players have been waiting for is finally here. It's time to head to South Bend Indiana and face Notre Dame.
The Fighting Irish came to Norman a year ago and beat the Sooners making them very one dimensional. Oklahoma couldn't run the football against a stiff Notre Dame defense. OU only had 15 yards on 24 carries in the 30-13 loss.
Bob Stoops thinks this time around should be much different. The Sooners are 16th in the country in rushing offense.
"We are blocking better. Identifying who were blocking in a stronger and better and more consistent way." said Coach Stoops, "And we've been more persistent on trying to run the football. So hopefully we'll have some success doing it.
Oklahoma is averaging almost 272 yards a game.
