Update Thursday:

Campbell Co., VA – Fire crews say there were no injuries or heavy damage caused by the fire on Lawyers Road Wednesday evening.

Campbell County officials say they responded to a call at around 4:40 p.m. to a fire at Gerdau plant, formally Cycle Systems.

The Lyn-Dan Heights Vol. Fire Department, the Brookville-Timberlake, Evington, Rustburg, Concord Fire Departments and Campbell County Public Safety responded to the fire. They had the fire under control in about 2 hours.

Crews say a spark that started during the process at the plant started the fire.

Officials say it's normal for sparks to start small fires at the plant that recycles metal. But they say this fire was larger than usual.

There was some damage done to a conveyer belt.
