Lynchburg Hobby Shop Co-Owner Pleads Guilty to Receiving Stolen Property
Lynchburg, VA - The co-owner of a Lynchburg hobby shop that burned to the ground is now a convicted felon.
Paula Lair pleaded guilty Tuesday to four counts of receiving stolen property. She and her husband ran the Collector's Lair on Fort Avenue until it caught fire in January. The cause has been ruled undetermined.
According to the Lynchburg commonwealth's attorney, Lair bought stolen property on four separate occasions over the last year in an undercover sting.
She faces a maximum of 61 years in prison. A judge is scheduled to sentence her in January.
