University of Oklahoma receiver Trey Metoyer has been charged with two felony counts of indecent exposure. According to court documents obtained by KTUL.com Metoyer is a suspect in two separate incidents.
The first took place on August 29, 2013. The court documents say a female victim told police that she was on a balcony smoking a cigarette when she observed a black male driving through the parking lot (Twin Creek Village, Norman Oklahoma) in a red Grand Am. The man backed up and pulled into a parking spot. The victim noticed a short time later that the man exposed while sitting in the car.
On September 17, 2013 Norman Police responded to the second incident. The Affidavit Of Probable Cause states that the victim was walking her dog (in the area of 1380 Creekside Drive, Norman Oklahoma) when she was approached by a black male who asked her if he could borrow a pen. The victim went into her apartment to get an ink pen and when she came back outside, the man exposed himself. He then asked the victim if she would want the pen back.
On October 3, 2013, a six person photo lineup was presented to the victim that reported the September incident and the victim positively identified Metoyer as the suspect.
University of Oklahoma head football coach Bob Stoops issued a statement late Tuesday night concerning Metoyer. He said, "Trey has not been with us since prior to the TCU game and at this time I do not anticipate that he will return to the team in the future."
Metoyer was a 5-star recruit from White House, TX.
After attending Hargrave Military Academy, Metoyer joined the Sooners in 2012 where he played in 11 games and started four games. He racked up 148 yards on 17 catches. He registered one touchdown.
He played in four games this season catching two balls for 18 yards.
