UPDATE: Fire Crews Extinguish Brush Fire in Blairs

UPDATE: 4:49 p.m.

Pittsylvania Co., VA - The Blairs Fire Department and the Department of Forestry responded to a small brush fire in the 600 block of Pritchett Lane on Saturday in Blairs.

We're told it happened around 2:15 p.m. The fire was about two acres wide and was contained in 30 minutes.

The brush fire was behind a mobile home and barn. Officials say there was no damage and no injuries. No word on the cause of the fire yet.

The fire was small and quickly put out by crews on the scene.
