Cerebral Palsy Doesn't Stop Magna Vista Senior From Becoming HC Queen

Posted:

Henry Co., VA - Magna Vista High School in Ridgeway celebrated their homecoming festivities Friday night, and for newly crowned queen Christina Ruiz, it was a night to remember.

Ruiz is a senior who has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy.

Her classmates rallied behind her to make sure she walked away with the title.

Administrators say Ruiz is loved by her peers.

At least 10 to 15 of her family members came out Friday to celebrate her win.

Folks in the crowd said there were definitely a lot of tears.
