Posted:

Pittsylvania Co., VA - There's a new service for people who may come across an animal and not really know what to do.

The Department of Game and Inland Fisheries has created the Wildlife Conflict Hotline.

State residents can call for a range of issues, from roaming bears to rabid animal concerns.

Agents are available from 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, to offer simple solutions or refer callers to an expert that can help.

You can reach the hotline at (855) 571-9003.
