Lynchburg - One-time E.C. Glass standout John Adams broke a scoreless tie in the 70th minute to give Randolph the lead and the WildCats went on to beat Washington & Lee 2-0 Wednesday night in the ODAC Men's Soccer Semifinals.
It stayed 1-0 until just less than four minutes left when Troy Jurney added a big insurance goal for the WildCats.
Randolph, the number one seed in the tournament, will host second-seeded Virginia Wesleyan Saturday night at 7 in the ODAC Championship Game. The Marlins rallied from a 2-1 deficit at the half to beat Lynchburg 4-2 in the other semifinal, Wesleyan outscored LC 3-0 in the second half to pull out the win.
