A Tulsa man is behind bars Wednesday morning after he lead a police officer on a short chase. A Tulsa Police officer tried to stop 42-year-old Christopher Cowan around 11:49 p.m. Tuesday night for speeding near 3300 E. 51st Street.
After the officer turned her lights and siren on, Cowan kept driving. The officer then pursued Cowan for about two more minutes. The chase ended after the Cowan got a flat tire and left his car. He ran into a neighborhood near 55th and Delaware and police arrested him.
TPD charged him with eluding an officer, possessing stolen property and other charges.
