UPDATE: Joshua Graves Sentenced to Ten Years

UPDATE: Rustburg, VA - Joshua Graves received a sentence of 10 years after being convicted of second degree murder.

He received a total of 28 years with 18 of those suspended.

He received 25 years for second degree murder  with all but seven suspended.  He also faces three years for use of firearm.

Graves has to pay $12,000 in restitution.


Rustburg, VA - The murder case is moving forward against a Gladys man accused of killing a complete stranger at a party earlier this year.

Tuesday, a Campbell County grand jury indicted Joshua Graves on first-degree murder and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Graves is accused of shooting and killing Travis 'Duck' Daniel at a party on Long Island Road on April 27th.

He's expected to go on trial in February of next year.
