Update: Lynchburg Police Looking for Walgreens Robbery Suspect

Update 8:30 p.m.:

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police identified the suspect they believe went into Walgreens on Wards Road and made off with prescription medication.

Lynchuburg Police say his name is Daniel Richard Lee White, and they have a warrant for robbery.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.

Update 6 p.m.:

Lynchburg, VA - Lynchburg Police are looking for a man they say went into Walgreens and made off with prescription medication.

Police were on scene at the two thousand block of Wards Road around 12:30 p.m.

They say the man in this surveillance picture went into the store, said he had a gun and demanded prescription medication.

Police say he jumped over the counter to grab the medication.

They don't know how much he was able to get away with.

Lynchburg, VA - Police are on the scene of a robbery at the Walgreens on Wards Road in Lynchburg Thursday. 

A ABC 13 News crew is on the scene and says there is still a lot of police activity. There is also a helicopter flying around the area.
