Martinsville Police Make Arrest in Weekend Shooting


Martinsville, VA - Martinsville police have charged Devin Laray Pritchett, 20, for shooting into a house early Sunday morning.

Pritchett faces several charges.

Police say they got to 102 Pony Place and found a home that had been shot at, but no one was hurt.

While there, police heard multiple shots several streets over.

Police then found a car crashed into a utility pole and two people with gunshot wounds.

Eugene Jones, 20, died from his injuries.

Willie Grant, 21, is in serious condition.
