Charlottesville - Number 8 Wisconsin shot just 29 percent from the field for the game, but still beat Virginia by 10 Wednesday night in ACC/Big Ten Challenge action.
The Badgers gave head coach Bo Ryan his 300th victory with Wisconsin, holding UVa to 23 percent shooting on the night. The Cavaliers made just 3 of 20 shots in the second half, 15 percent. Noone for Virginia scored in double figures, freshman point guard London Perrantes led the Cavs with 8.
Wisconsin led by just five at the half, but took advantage of Virginia's shooting woes after intermission to stay unbeaten on the year, improving its record to 9-and-0.
Virginia falls to 7-and-2. The Cavs play at head coach Tony Bennett's alma mater Green Bay this Saturday.
