Danville, VA -- A man accused in the stabbing death of a Danville man in September has been arrested by U.S. Marshals in Roanoke.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, 33-year-old Harry Gladmon was taken into custody Thursday night.
Police are very excited about this arrest, but they say their search is not over. On September 30th, police say Gladmon killed Martin Cowan outside the Pure Gas Station while wearing a Halloween mask. Gladmon was also wanted in North Carolina for probation violation.
Police have been very vocal about wanting to find Gladmon. They tell us Gladmon was arrested in Roanoke last night, and then transported to the Danville Jail. He faces charges of first degree murder and Stab, Cut, or Wound in the Commission of Murder.
"We're not finished with this, we still have some work to do but we are very happy that we have Gladmon safely in custody," said Cpt. Matt Carter, Danville Police Department.
You may remember, there were two Halloween masks and two people wanted in this stabbing. Now police are on the hunt for the other suspect. Because the case is still under investigation, police are not releasing his name.
