Indiegogo Campaign Now LIVE to Fund Final Production of Revolutionary "Build-Your-Own" Eyewear System that Allows Users to Choose, Build, Replace or Upgrade the Look They Want
SINGAPORE, Dec. 9, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Nuke Optics today introduced VENOM, its patent-pending modular eyewear design system. Built around the world's first completely screwless hinge, the Nuke VENOM Modular System allows full interchangeability and cross compatibility between lenses, frames and side arms (a.k.a. "temples"), regardless of shape, size, design, color or application. This revolutionary "build-your-own" system, which can be found on NukeOptics.com by mid December 2013, allows users to see what their sunglasses look like prior to purchase, and allows them to create the perfect pair to fit their personality or needs. The Indiegogo campaign (www.igg.me/at/nuke), which is now LIVE, has a funding goal of $15,00USD and will run until January 18, 2014.
The innovation of the Nuke VENOM Modular System lies in the fact that it is the only fully customizable single modular system in the world designed for eyewear that is screwless, interchangeable and cross-compatible. Featuring five different frames (v2, v4, v41, v6, and v8), four types of lenses and three different temples (v, turbo, and samurai), users can create over one million combinations!
Nuke VENOM revolutionizes the eyewear industry in four key ways:
"VENOM is the world's first fully customizable single modular system designed for eyewear that has the possibility to work on so many different levels and change the way the eyewear industry has operated for decades," said M. Samy, founder, Nuke Optics. "Like Phoneblocks, the modular system for mobile phones, VENOM brings eyewear customization into the hands of consumers, literally, and allows them to choose what their most important eyewear needs are and build it accordingly."
Samy continued: "If a component of your eyewear breaks, you can replace that specific part, not buy a whole new pair. What's great is that you can upgrade to new parts when you feel like it, or when we release something new. By manufacturing parts to be cross-compatible, we are able to create something new, while keeping the cost low and pass those savings to you."
