Nelson Co., VA - Nelson County Commonwealth's Attorney Anthony Martin is asking for a gag order in the Alexis Murphy case.

The Commonwealth's Attorney's Office says Martin wants to prevent potential witnesses and law enforcement officials from disclosing information to the media and public about the case.

He cited media reports of other missing person cases as part of the reason for the request.

There will be a hearing about the motion in Nelson County Circuit Court on Wednesday morning.
