Appalachian Power Bills May Increase in 2014

Lynchburg, VA - Your Appalachian Power bill may be going up next year.

Appalachian Power filed a request Wednesday with the State Corporation Commission to recover electric transmission costs.

They are seeking an annual increase of almost $50 million.

If approved, the average monthly bill would go up by $3.98 and would go into effect in May.
