Logan Thomas Eager for Final VT Game

Blacksburg - When Logan Thomas steps under center in the Sun Bowl, it'll be his 40th start in a row.

The Lynchburg quarterback already holds Tech records for total offense, passing yards, attempts, completions and touchdown passes.  Now with the team wrapping up final exams, the Hokies are eager to focus in on UCLA.

Logan Thomas, LAST GAME FOR THE HOKIES, said "It's tough to prepare going four or five days in between practices.  You just gotta stay locked in and be ready to practice whenever we have it. This coming week should be a lot better 'cause we have so many practices, three practices in four days or something like that."

Bryan Stinespring, TIGHT ENDS COACH/RECRUITING COORDINATOR, said "We really haven't geared ourselves, practice-wise, specifically to UCLA.  Everything has been about timing, getting back into the flow of the game.  When we get back on the field now we turn our attention specifically to UCLA.  Right now we're in the planning stages.  We're starting to look at film.  All eyeballs are on UCLA."
