Lynchburg's Villa Maria Mansion Has New Owners

Lynchburg, VA - The historic Villa Maria mansion in Lynchburg officially now has new owners.

Realtor Peggy McCall says the deal closed Wednesday, and was filed Thursday morning with the Clerk of Circuit Court.

The records show Mark Little and Eric Leap bought the Rivermont Avenue home for $900,000.

McCall says the new owners do plan to live there.

The mansion went up for sale after the bank took ownership after California investor Dennis Gibbs defaulted on the loan.
