Christiansburg Gets Storm Water Funds

Christiansburg, VA - The Commonwealth of Virginia has awarded the Town of Christiansburg more than $600,000 in grant money from the Storm Water Local Assistance Fund.

The matching grant funds help local governments reduce pollution from storm water runoff.

Christiansburg will use the money for projects in their downtown, their Industrial Park Basin, and for the "Diamond Hills Project."

The Town is one of 31 localities to receive grant funds.
