Lynchburg - Virginia University of Lynchburg football standout Keith Lewis competed in last weekend's Medal of Honor Bowl All-Star Game in South Carolina.

The Dragons' cornerback, who had seven interceptions this year, had four tackles, two solos in the All-Star Game.   Lewis added a couple of pass deflections and thought he played well on special teams.

Keith Lewis, VUL SENIOR CORNERBACK, said "It was a lot of questions out there like who is Keith Lewis, what is Virginia University of Lynchburg?  So I had to go out there and prove who I was, also represent the school."

LU defensive back Walt Aikens also played in the game and was credited with three tackles. Aikens and Lewis looking to improve their stock for the NFL Draft in early May.

Keith Lewis said "It was a great weekend down there to be down there with a lot of big-school players, me coming from a small school, got me a lot of exposure.  So it was great down there competing with a lot of guys from the SEC, Big Ten, ACC."
