Steve Fisher, Recently Retired Vice President of Caterpillar, elected to Board of Directors at Mayville Engineering Company.

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. (MEC) today announced that Steve Fisher was elected to the companys board of directors. Fisher recently retired from Caterpillar after a successful 36 year career with the worlds leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.

Mr. Fisher most recently held the position of vice president of the Large Power Systems & Growth Markets Division at Caterpillar. During the course of his long and distinguished career at the company, Fisher played an important role in acquiring and integrating companies in the rail, mining, and energy sectors, among others. He was responsible for strategic and product planning, product development and manufacturing for multiple Caterpillar businesses. Under his leadership, the companys remanufacturing business grew significantly to become the recognized world leader. Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Bradley University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
