NFL Pros Teach Children's Football Camp

Lynchburg, VA – Two NFL players are spending the weekend in Lynchburg. Liberty University is hosting its College For A Weekend and two alumni, Rashad Jennings with the Oakland Raiders, and Mike Brown with the Jacksonville Jaguars, decided to stop by.

Saturday morning the two actually helped out with a football camp for third through eighth graders. Jennings and Brown both say they are glad to be back at their alma mater spending the day with kids and teaching them about the game they love.

"Football camps and being able to share our knowledge with young kids you know that's all good and you know enhancing their football skills you know the main thing we want to do is just inspire these kids for success in whatever area they want to do that whether they want to be a doctor or a lawyer or whatever it may be. If they want to be a football player that's great," said Brown.

The two also spoke to groups of students about overcoming poverty and cultural diversity.
