Danville, VA-- Danville Fire officials said an early morning house fire is being ruled as arson.
The Danville Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Ingram Street at around 3:20 a.m.
When crews arrived they saw heavy smoke coming from the home. Firefighters spent about three hours on the scene.
We're told the fire caused moderate damage to a bedroom and a hallway. Officials say no one was in the home when the fire started.
They have not been able to get in touch with the residents yet. The Danville Fire Marshal's Office is still investigating.
