Lynchburg Bomb Threat Suspect Denied Bond

UPDATE: Dexter White was denied bond today.   White is the Lynchburg man who allegedly made bomb threats to area schools in late February.

White is now scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on June 13th in Lynchburg General District Court.

Lynchburg, VA - A judge has denied bond for the suspect accused of calling in a series of bomb threats on Lynchburg City Schools.

Lynchburg District Court ruled that Dexter White will not be released, unless he is released to an inpatient mental health facility.

White faces multiple felony charges, in connection with a string of bomb threats that were called into schools and Lynchburg General Hospital in late February.

White was convicted of two unrelated misdemeanors of telephone misuse, earlier this month.
