Martinsville Trucks Rained Out, Will Race Sunday

Martinsville - Race fans will get a double dose of action Sunday afternoon at Martinsville Speedway.

Rain washed out Saturday's Kroger 250 trucks race, but the race has been added to Sunday's schedule, starting after the completion of the STP 500 Cup race that begins at 1.  Anyone with a Saturday trucks race ticket will be admitted after the 100-lap mark of the Cup race.  So they'll get to see most of the STP 500 and the trucks.  And if you've got a ticket to the Cup race, you can stay and watch the trucks for no extra charge.

Timothy Peters, CAMPING WORLD POINTS LEADER - "The only thing we have to look at is the track didn't take much rubber yesterday with our practice or the Cup practice.   But with 500 laps of racing there is going to be something put down.  So  you have to anticipate that, really pay attention to their tire wear and just try to make the best educated guess for us."
