Roanoke, VA - The woman accused of driving drunk and killing a bicyclist last week in Roanoke is now facing upgraded charges.

Rikki Reynolds, 33, of Salem, has been jail since the wreck a week ago Monday.

Reynolds was already facing 10 years in prison but now faces a maximum of 31 years after a grand jury returned an indictment charging Reynolds with felony hit and run resulting in a death as well as enhancing the involuntary manslaughter charge she already faced.

Those two charges alone could land Reynolds in prison for 30 years.

She also faces 12 months for a misdemeanor DUI.

Reynolds is accused of hitting 59-year-old Earl Wright on Franklin Road as he rode his bike home from work.

An arrest warrant shows Reynolds did admit to drinking that night - evidence backed up by a blood alcohol test that had Reynolds at three times the legal level; registering a .24.
