Cavaliers Prep for Saturday's Spring Football Game

Charlottesville - UVa's Orange-Blue spring game is Saturday at 1.

With 15 or more players dinged up, Saturday's game will have a scrimmage format.  All of the quarterbacks are expected to play.  Coach Mike London says a lot of positives have come out of the spring, players are learning more, getting bigger and stronger.   It's a chance to compete and make a statement.

Mike London, UVA FIFTH-YEAR HEAD COACH, said "This performance, added with all the other performances, can help you move ahead, stay the same, or perhaps be looking over your shoulder when a new group of first-years come in wanting to take your position.  So it's been a sense of urgency, you know, but that's what you need.  We want to get this to a point where noone feels comfortable about where they are but they always want to get better but know that there's always somebody trying to take your spot."
