Defense Leads the Way for UVa Football

Charlottesville - Saturday's Orange & Blue Spring Football Game showed the UVa football team is still very much a work in progress.

While the offense struggled much of the spring's final workout, the defense stole the show. Senior Henry Coley, voted one of the Cavaliers' team captains, racked up a game-high 12 tackles and thinks the defense will be a force this season.

Henry Coley, UVA SENIOR MIDDLE LINEBACKER, said "Football IQ is definitely raised.  Football IQ is definitely raised.  A lot of guys are a lot more confident in the system 'cause it's our second year being in the schemes.  Younger guys since we have a system, a good solid system, and we have guys who bought into it, older guys.  The young guys can just come into the system and mold into it a lot easier."
