Lynchburg College Lacrosse Beats Va. Wesleyan 22-7

Lynchburg -  Dane Angell scored a career-high five goals and third-seeded Lynchburg College outscored 6 seed Virginia Wesleyan 11-2 over the second and third quarters en route to a 22-7 win Tuesday night in the ODAC men's lacrosse quarterfinals.

Leading 10-3 at the half, LC wasted no time getting on the board in period three, Campbell Armstrong connected just 17 seconds in.  The Hornets outscored the Marlins 12-4 in the second half and advance to Saturday's 5:30 semifinal against the second-seeded Washington & Lee Generals.

Hampden-Sydney won Tuesday night's other quarterfinal 14-11 over Randolph-Macon.  The fourth-seeded Tigers advance to face top-seeded Roanoke College in Saturday's 3:00 semifinal match.  The semifinals and championship match are being played at Roanoke.
