Man Accused of Tattooing Girls Waives Preliminary Hearing

Posted:
Campbell Co., VA - One of three people charged in connection with the tattooing of two young girls had a scheduled court appearance Monday morning where he waived his right to a preliminary hearing.

Alexander Edwards is accused of tattooing the girls back in January.

A search warrant says Daniel Janney, the boyfriend of the girls mother, tried to remove the tattoos with a hot razor blade.

The girl mother, Melissa Delp, is also charged because investigators say she did nothing to stop Janney.

The cases against all three will go before a grand jury on May 19th.
