LCA Baseball Will Play for a State Title

Josh Campo and Ben Stanley delivered the offense and Zach Hess took care of business on the mound.
LCA beat Norfolk Academy 6-1 Saturday in the VISAA state semifinals. LCA will play for its first ever state championship against the St. Anne's - Belfield, a 6-0 winner over Flint Hill in the other semifinal.
Hess threw a complete game, allowing two hits while striking out eight. Campo was 2-3 with a home run and three RBIs. Stanley was 1-3 with a home run and 2 RBIs.
The state championship game is Sunday at 6 p.m. at Shepherd Stadium in Colonial Heights, Va.
