UPDATE: Final Suspect Arrested in Big Horn Market Robbery

Update:  On Thursday, Eugene J. Morton turned himself in to the Lynchburg Police Department.

Lynchburg, VA - On Saturday night at about 8:45, the Lynchburg Police Department responded to the Big Horn Market on Leesville Road for a report of a robbery.

Two suspects entered the store and one displayed a knife to the clerk demanding money while the second suspect stole merchandise. The men fled the store on foot with merchandise and an undisclosed amount of cash where they met a woman that was waiting in a vehicle at a nearby location.

An Officer that was patrolling the area observed a suspicious vehicle leaving the scene of the robbery and attempted to stop the vehicle. The vehicle stopped and one of the suspects fled on foot while the driver and other suspect were taken into custody.
 
The man that fled on foot was not apprehended and is still at large.  He has been identified as Eugene Jerome Morton.

The following individuals were arrested and charged with robbery:
#1 - Mario Delando Johnson, 29
#2 – Sharon Migdalia Vega-Burch, 20

The following individual has an active warrant for robbery:
#3 – Eugene Jerome Morton, 26
