Lynchburg - For the third straight night, the Hillcats rallied from four runs down to win.  Lynchburg defeated Frederick 5-4 in 10 innings for its fourth straight win and seventh in the last eight games.

Lynchburg wiped out a 4-0 deficit with two runs in the fifth and sixth innings Wednesday night, Will Skinner hit a two-run homer in the fifth, Tyler Tewell added one in the sixth.  Tied at 4, the game went to extra innings and Josh Elander won it for the Hillcats with an rbi single in the 10th.

Lynchburg remains just a half-game back of first-place Wilmington in the Northern Division.  The Hillcats wrap up a week-long homestand with an early game Thursday, an 11:05 start in the morning for "Say No to Drugs Day" at the ballpark.

Myrtle Beach 5, Salem 2 - Jonathan Roof of the Red Sox went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and double, but it wasn't nearly enough as the first-place Pelicans beat Salem.  With the win, Myrtle Beach improves to a league-best 34-and-17 and leads second-place Salem by 7-and-a-half games in the Southern Division.
