Lynchburg City Schools Superintendent Getting Pay Raise

Posted:

Lynchburg VA, -  The Lynchburg City Schools Superintendent is getting a pay raise.  Last night the school board voted to give Scott Brabrand a 3.5 percent pay increase.

His new salary is now more than $163,000 up from $158,000 when he first got hired.

Spokeswoman Cindy Babb says Brabrand's salary is separate from the rest of the school staff so he did not get the three percent raise they did last school year.

Board members have now adjusted the language in Brabrand's contract to help him get raises in the future.
