Blacksburg - Saying the Hokies need to get Cassell rocking again, new head man Whit Babcock and the athletics department Wednesday announced lower ticket prices for the upcoming basketball season.
With the new ticket structure, about 35 percent of all seats will be at a lower price than last season. No ticket in the arena will be more expensive. Babcock says the Cassell is a tremendous home court advantage when it's full.
Season ticket prices for the primary, high-demand areas are 495 dollars. The mid-range areas are 360 dollars with the upper regions priced at 199 bucks for a season's seat.
